Hi there,

as I told you, at the weekend we spent our time at some game lodge at Pilanesberg.
During game drive Mohammed, our guide showed us four of the Big Five. Just the leopard had been missing!

It was amazing, to see those animals passing us by, not wondering who we were.
Calm and never agressive, but always beeing aware of us.

First steps in Afrikaans

Did some preparation – and one of them had been to get in contact with Afrikaans.

Afrikaans is on of those 11 official languages in South Africa beside english. And some said it might be helpful to speak at least some pieces of Afrikaans.
But listen first – it’s some kind of variation in between dutch, german, english and some other influences I can’t classify.

WordPress 3.0

After few years of just using – I simply had to update to wordpress 3.0. New technique, new Backend design, updated plugins. Just more than altering the surface.

The new gallery can be found at the page “pictures” in the top menu. I’ll post some pictures of South Africa when I’ll be there.

Hey!

I’m back in Germany!
Juppi, sehr viel Freude, sehr viele alte bekannte Gesichter!
Aber: es ist KALT! Daher…liege ich seit ca. 2 Tagen im Bett und erfreue mich einer besten Erkältung! Habe schon lange nicht mehr einenette Bronchitis gehabt.

Soweit – ich hab eine Wohnung in Durach (also bald eine neue Adresse)
Zur Zeit kein Internet zu Hause. Also kein ICQ etc. pp.
Neue Handynummer.
